We design your mold tooling to take advantage of our Charmilles Robofil 2020si and Robofil 2020.1 Wire-EDM machines. These CNC controlled wire machines can hold very close tolerance on specialty holes, tapers, contours, and angled pieces in all types of tool steel. In these machines, the spark erosion process uses a thin tensioned copper wire as the electrode medium. A Charmilles HD8 is used as a hole driller for wire-start holes in hardened steel.
