A big brother of our HSM 400, the Mikron HSM 600 is used for high speed milling of tool steel. Mold cavity contours are machined to a fine surface finish directly into hardened tool steel. The spindle can reach a speeds of 24,000 RPM. This rigid Swiss machine has a 25" x 27.5" table size to accomodate a large range of workpiece sizes and setups. Accuracy and repeatability and controlled by a Heidenhain ITNC 530 CNC controller.

The Mikron HSM 600 can hold and interchange a total of 30 tools. An integrated pallet changer is fed by our Erowa Robotic System. The programmable system can hold up to 5 pallets, allowing multiple workpiece interchangeability. The machine, tool changer and robotic system can be fully programmed to run unattended through evenings and weekends.
